Thank you to Japan Snow Riders for the trip of a lifetime!!! For complete travel novices, who were also stressing about travelling with young kids, Mark (Robbo) and Dee made it easy from the very first moment. Whether it was help with picking travel dates, booking flights, advice with essentials to pack - it was never too much trouble for Dee & Robbo. But a warning, if you want super organisation, make sure you talk to Dee. Otherwise, Robbo’s your man for entertainment value. Upon arrival in Japan, the personal service continued and with it came the benefit of Robbo & Dee’s extensive local knowledge. Where to eat (& sometimes what NOT to eat), what to see, how to get there, how to navigate the daunting rail network, not to mention Japanese vending machines – Dee & Robbo were always happy to help. So much to see and experience in Japan and then there’s the SNOW!!! It felt like we skied all over the countryside. Actually, pretty sure we did. Shiga Kogen was amazing – the snow, the trails, the beautiful scenery and NO lift lines. Again, Robbo to the rescue with ski lessons and support after every fall … once he’d stopped laughing that is. As for our trip of a lifetime, well it turned out it’s only our first trip of a lifetime because we can’t wait to get to Japan again with Japan Snow Riders. Thanks Dee & Robbo, we'll be back!!!

We have been to Japan about 8 times now and thought that this time we would go with a “structured trip” this year where everything was organised for us instead of me organising everything. So we went with Japan Snow riders who were recommended by a friend to me. Deanne organised a fantastic itinerary for us – from meeting us at the airport, organising Tokyo and things to do there, then the accommodation at Shiga Kogan, lift passes, transfers to/from the resort – everything was done for us. Whilst we were at the Resort they even went out of there way and showed us all the ski runs as we had never been to that area before and offered daily for anyone to join them if they wished to tag along on the runs. They also even took us up into the village and explained all the places to dine at whilst we were there. Mark who also runs Japan Snow Riders is a fully qualified ski instructor and gives lessons for all abilities at a very reasonable rate for those that are not experienced. To have someone English speaking for an instructor is a bonus when skiing in Japan!! I would thoroughly recommended japan Snow Riders to anybody who wants a friendly, easy going booking agent who looks after you the entire time you are there! Their package prices are great value for all that is included - we are now going back again this year as the service was fantastic and the skiing area is one of the biggest in Japan so a win win for us!!

Stress free and full of fun and adventure, never a dull moment with the group and having experienced ski instructor like Mark is perfect when you are new or scared to go on the slopes! Dee is fantastic with organising everything and ensuring everything runs smoothly, next year will be the 3rd year going and I can see many more years to come.
